Unless Your Budget is Tight...

Like the title says, unless you're needing a CHEAP apartment or are starting out, I would not recommend these apartments. This was my first renting experience and it's been the longest 12 months of my life. I'll start with the good things about Kenwood Heights. The manager is nice guy, and your water utility is included in the rent. That's it. The neighbors are nasty, we've had bug issues from gnats, to the little roaches that infest, to HUGE wolf spiders. The appliances in the units are old,... everything was quickly coated in paint, as in the bad paint job where its on knobs, and floors. If you live on a floor apartment expect your floors to flood when there is a bad storm. Initial service visits always happen, but no real remedies have yet to be offered. People take the few parking spaces you have, the apartments are in multi-building complexes, so when people come home it sounds like people have just walked through your door. The laundry unit is behind the managers office and has a bad smell. Don't move here unless you're trying to get your foot in the door or you're desperate.
