707 Townhomes

I do not recommend staying here. I moved in July 2023 and had issues since day one. When I moved in, I was not aware the lights on the third floor did not operate properly. I was also unaware of the extreme temperatures within the townhome during summer and winter seasons. The first management company Leap DFW did not take my concerns into consideration. I had to get a hotel for two days during the summer because my unit was 99°. When I mentioned this to the management company she told me no one... will be able to come out for 48 hours. After I made it an issue of the unlivable conditions, she then reached out to a contractor. They didn’t show up until 9 PM.

When winter came, my thermostat would not get past 60 degrees. Called out a contractor once again, but had to buy a portable heater to stay warm.

Since January, I noticed a leak that was coming from the 3rd floor through the walls of the second floor. I made maintenance request. I’ve sent emails. I even had conversations with the new management company Proxy Management. Til this day, the second floor has water damage within the walls as well as a leaking problem every time it rains, but this was/is not considered a maintenance emergency. My fear was black mold growing within the walls or the ceiling collapsing causing damage to my belonings.

Today, May 7th, the air condition is out again, 82 degrees, after they said it was fixed last year. I will have to get a hotel again, at my expense, because of this inconvenience.

Again, I do not recommend staying here. If you want to be ignored, if you want to be overlooked, if you want to be mistreated, please stay here - otherwise spend your money elsewhere. This was one of the worst places I’ve ever rented. Just unacceptable and unfair treatment. Read More
