How Is This Rating Determined?

No hot water for first 5 days plus staff is insensitive and rude about them!

We recently moved into this community with our family, and our first week has been very disappointing. We were without hot water for almost 5 out of our first 7 days. We tried to be understanding, but when my wife asked for an immediate resolution, the Community Director, Christina Renken, said, “Why don’t you just take a hotel if it’s bothering you so much? So many people do that.”

We also reported that the microwave was not working and were told to use the stovetop because it was not a...
pressing issue. When we said the guest bathroom flush had not been working for two days, we were told to use the other bathroom.

The maintenance issues are frustrating, but the bigger issue is the dismissive and insensitive attitude from the staff. Tenants are paying rent and deserve basic habitability, timely repairs, and respectful communication. I hope management takes this seriously and improves.

Cute Amenties, Great Staff, Overpriced For Value.

What drew me to Oakhouse initially were the amenities and look of the apartments. The square footage is small for what you're paying for, especially for the area. The staff, from leasing agents to maintanence, were always really friendly and accommodating in my experience. I'm bummed that the pool only gets a few hours of direct sunlight during the day because of it's placement. A lot of my issues were with other tenants. Lack of respect for the property. Dog owners refusing to pick up after... their dogs. I've even seen dog poop on people's balcony's. People love driving really fast in the parking garage, even when there are tight corners. It unfortunately smells like sewage in the parking garage often too.
