The Cornerstone Apartments while not perfect is reasonably one of the better apartments in the area. The apartments themselves are very clean and each's layout is well designed to best optimize the space in mind. I myself currently rent out the studio (for $750/mth) and while there were plenty of locations that were 50-100 sf bigger they were not as conveniently designed as the one I'm currently renting.

Bathroom: Considering the nightmare most bathrooms are in older complexes I'm actually... really pleased with the ones in Cornerstone. While not spacious by any stretch of the imagination the toliet, sink, and bathtub are all extremely clean and well taken care of. The shower temperature is easy to control and it doesn't take ages to get either hot or cold water when you want a temperature change while in the shower. The grout in the tile isn't the easiest to clean but magic eraser tends to do the trick if you do run into any problems.

Kitchen: The biggest complaint I have out of everything in the complex lies in the kitchen. I'm not a fan of the oven in my apartment AT ALL. The burners are uneven and it is not easy to clean. Cabinets in kitchen are white painted would the drawers are not smooth to pull out and any grease splatters from the stove top are difficult to get out. working counter space is made difficult by the placement of the sink which leaves two smaller barely workable sections of counter on each side. The dishwasher while a nice addition isn't all that powerful so expect to be hand washing any dish that is particularly dirty. One thing I do enjoy about the kitchen is the garbage disposal. For it's sizes it's quiet powerful and easy to use.

5 days a week (not wed or sun) my garbage is picked up from a designated receptacle feet from my front door, which is a nice touch. Other amenities include a free do it yourself car wash station, a shaded dog park, 3 laundry units, poolside wifi (for the pool near the office), and great top of the line grills (not the cheap charcoal ones seen at every campground in the US).

Fitness Center: Right now the fitness center has really inconvenient hours. The new management is currently in the process of renovating one of the buildings on property to house a new 24/7 fitness center, which should remove the issue.

The community itself is a mixed bag. Some young families, grad students, people just starting in the workforce, and retires are mainly what you are going to find here. Read More
