I had a disappointing experience at The Gabriella in Dallas. While the amenities and location are attractive, frequent disturbances from short-term renters and unreliable package deliveries made daily living frustrating. Unfortunately common areas often lacked proper maintenance. Also, the Assistant Manager was consistently rude and dismissive when I brought up these issues, which only added to my dissatisfaction. I’ve only been a resident here for a few short months, and in that time, the entire staff has turned over—clear proof of the poor management and complete disregard for residents. Unfortunately, things have only gotten worse.

Most shockingly, the leasing staff stole my personal property from outside my home while I had the flu. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, I was handed a lease violation notice by the completely incompetent, unapologetic, and visibly overwhelmed office... manager, Chelsi. She lacks both the experience and the professionalism to handle resident concerns, making an already mismanaged community even worse.

Don’t be fooled by the new flooring and cosmetic upgrades—this place is riddled with issues. Hopefully, things improve under new management, but until they finish cleaning house and let go of the last remaining problem staff member, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Proceed with caution! Read More

CAREFUL even applying! I applied to live here almost 30 days ago, (25 days to be exact). Not once did I ever get a message from the management/leasing team. Every email I got was clearly auto generated. I get a denial letter, again auto generated. I asked for a response from mgmt and yet nothing. I even reached out to Greystar corporate, ZERO RESPONSE! Now I’m fighting to get my $500 security deposit back. I’ve sent a total of six (6) emails with not one responded to. This is the worst... management company I’ve ever dealt with. DO NOT RENT ON THE 10th FLOOR. With the dog park on the 10th floor and the renters here rarely picking up after their dogs, living on the 10th floor is constantly stepping around wet pee stains and rarely being able to walk to your apartment without the smell of dog crap in the hallways. Throw in the fact that the elevators have puddles of dog pee in them from time to time, and you’ll be embarrassed to bring guests over.

The primary, central elevator in the main building seems to be down or... unavailable far more than it is not, which leads to praying that you’ll only get very long wait times at the other elevators, instead of those elevators being down too (they are also down more than you’d like). That 7-story walk from the garage to the 10th floor has been the only real option multiple times.

The walls and amenities are paper thin. The only “luxury” thing in this apartment that has actually made an impact is the view of the skyline, because you’re certainly not getting much else of value at this high of a price tag. Read More

As The Gabriella is a special place to live because it is the only luxurious community around. It is in a good location close to downtown, deep ellum, the arts district, and the farmers market. It is also easy to get to because it is near the highways. Even though it is close to busy areas, it is still very safe. The Gabriella is also above a grocery store! The building has lots of nice things, similar to a boutique hotel. Including a concierge onsite. It is a really great place to live!
