The Boulevard at Deer Park

The Boulevard at Deer Park is the absolute BEST you are going to get as far as luxury apartment living in the amazing Deer Park. Great schools, great area, and very safe community. This is our second time back, which shows we have been very satisfied here. We can't say enough good things. Yes, it can be expensive, but the one thing that people always say, "you get what you pay for!" is absolutely true. The newly renovated apartments are absolutely stunning, and we are more than happy here. It is… beautiful, grounds are very well kept, pool always looks clean. The most important thing is the staff is absolutely stellar!!! Krissi, the Community Manager has been here since we lived here before and is a Rockstar! Crystal & Korien have both been here since we moved in this second time, and they are fantastic. GREAT attitudes, and nothing but helpful! They also have community events frequently, which really makes you feel like you are apart of the community. We plan to attend their Pumpkin painting coming up next week with our kiddos, and it just makes us truly feel like a family. The upgrades never stop, and the neighbors are also great. It is very quiet at night, and the maintenance is also very quick to address all of your requests and concerns. About 4 years ago, I was searching for my 1st apartment. I wanted a complex that I would feel safe and comfortable in. This was it! I have gotten to know the wonderful new staff and miss the old staff that left after the apartments sold. I was so sad to see them leave but the Manager Krissy stayed and that made me feel better. I have gotten to know the guys that do the work orders. They are friendly and have always taken care of any issues that I had. I did have an AC issue last summer and due… to it being a Friday night, they were not able to get a new one until that Monday, but they let me use a portable one so I could at least sleep. Y’all know about this Texas Heat!!!! I do have 1 complaint, people not picking up after their dogs poop. It’s gross and they are lazy people and should not have dogs. The guys that pick up any trash and stuff in the mornings try to pick it up, I volunteered to get a camera on my balcony to get proof of who was breaking the complex rules. In turn, they offered me a gift card for anyone that was caught by it and was fined. I see they have cans with signs and bags for people to use, but not everyone does. Loved living here. Great staff, quiet neighbors, awesome neighborhood, and lovely clean apartments!

For the first 6 months, I had pest issues (mainly with roaches and centipedes). I would call maintenance, but the pests kept coming back.
I live on the first floor and there has been piles of dog poop multiplying in front of my apartment. I'm talking like 3-4 piles A DAY. It's so bad people don't even want to visit because the smell is so bad. The residents don't pick up after their pets and it's disgusting.
The apartments switched ownership and it was not the smoothest transition. Their… communication with this was poor. They told us a few days before rent was due that we would have to pay with a cashier's check (which is inconvenient to those traveling for the summer and rely on the online portal for payment). Just wish there was a more advance notice of this like a week or more, not a few days.
One day, my water was shut off randomly for a few hours and I had to find out from the city before they let us know. They didn't send out a message until an hour after I had my water turned back on.
It would also be worth noting that when the tornado hit in January 2023, we were one of the last people to get power back and the cell service was non-existent only in the apartment complex area. And during this time, they did not communicate well.
All in all, their communication is their biggest weakness and I was very disappointed with my experience here. I would search elsewhere and sacrifice a little farther commute from work than live here again. Read More
