Not Worth It
I have been a resident of this community for over two years, and until the recent change in ownership and management, my experience had been overwhelmingly positive.
Unfortunately, my interactions with the new property manager, Bri, have been the complete opposite
Since my transfer in February, I have had two registered vehicles, and this arrangement was approved and documented under the previous management. Ana (previous manager) was always courteous and on top of documentation. Since the new... ownership took over, those established agreements appear to be disregarded, despite the fact that they should have transferred with my lease documentation.
I made three separate trips to the leasing office specifically to speak with the property manager, only to be told each time that she was unavailable. When I finally learned she was in the office, I waited about 15 minutes before a leasing consultant came out carrying a stack of unsigned lease templates.
I respectfully asked if I could speak with Bri directly. Her response immediately set the tone for the interaction. She rolled her eyes before saying, "Sure." When I approached her office and tapped on the glass before entering, she looked me up and down before acknowledging me.
Throughout our conversation, I was spoken to in an incredibly condescending manner. Rather than working toward a solution, I felt as though my concerns were being dismissed because they involved agreements made before the current management company took over.
What is even more concerning is that management could not provide me with a copy of my executed lease. Instead, I was handed blank Blue Moon template documents with no signatures, no completed information, and no record of my approved vehicle information. My executed lease, parking addendum, and application.. including the documentation showing that I disclosed and was approved for two vehicles.. were all available in my previous resident portal but have since disappeared. As it stands today, management has been unable to produce an executed lease for my residency.
I want to be very clear that this review is not directed at the leasing staff. They have consistently been professional, courteous, and helpful.
I am owed an apology from Bri for the dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional way I was treated. Residents deserve to be heard, treated with respect, and have confidence that their legally executed lease documents are being properly maintained.
