I recently moved to Retreat of Krum and my only regret is that I didn't move here sooner! My apartment is so nice, clean, and safe for over 55. Walk-in shower for example. Staff is very caring and really seem enthusiastic to make residents not just satisfied but happy. Maintenance has responded promptly, with courteous professionalism. I have been welcomed by the community of residents, who invited me to share in comradery and fun activities. I am happy with my living environment for the… first time since I left my home farm in KY. Wonderful place to live not just pass our "golden" years, we are the Golden Retreatos!

Retired poolside!

My wife and I are literally retired poolside in this wonderful community! We moved into our new apartment in July of last year (2023) and consider ourselves "Pioneers" as two of the first few here. This remains very much a new community as construction completes on the last of the buildings. As in any brand new build, there have been a few growing pains, but the management and maintenance team here has been amazing to work with. We love our new family of neighbors that we get to share the great… amenities with. A further plus is that Krum has a wonderful small town feel, but we can enjoy Denton shopping and restaurants less than 10 minutes away. I highly recommend coming to check this place out if you are looking for an active 55+ community.
