Sunstone Village a 55+ Active Adult Cottages

The Sunstone property management should be ashamed of themselves in the way they take advantage and treat their residents! My mother lives here and she has told me many occasions the disrespectful treatment she has experienced from the manager. To be told they are lucky to be living there and yet, the property is not taken care of, many residents have leaky roofs, non working heaters or a/c's, broken sprinklers, broken gates, inconsistent rent payments and I could go on. These are older humans… who deserve just as much, if not more, respect than everyone else. And they are wrongfully evicting people because their feelings got hurt. We’ve lived in SunStone Village for 4.5 months, and we love it! The residents and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. All the apartments (cottages) are one story and each has its own outside entrance and outside seating area. The grounds are well maintained and very pleasant with many mature trees and bushes. There is a very nice clubhouse with a large multi-purpose room for a number of daily activities for residents… entertainment, meals, happy hours, cards, movies, music, etc. The… big, well equipped fitness center has up-to-date equipment and offers a number of instructor-led exercise classes throughout the week. A beautiful media room has a very large screen and comfortable chairs. A large, outdoor pool is right off the back of the clubhouse. It is used for casual swimming as well as instructor-led water aerobics during warm weather. Next to the pool is a roomy area used for outdoor grilling and entertaining. I have lived here for only 2 1/2 months but, so far, I have been happy with the feel of the community, the staff, the maintenance, and the people living in the community. Even though it is considered apartments, I like that everything is just one story and it looks like a little garden community. The staff and residents have all been friendly and helpful.

Great neighborhood/community feel. Friendly staff, (shout out to Carlos, Leo, Jose, and Laquetta) lovely homes. Located close to any shopping needs you may desire.
