About The Oasis Apartments
The Oasis offers Beautiful Two Bedroom, One Bath apartment homes. Oasis is a totally renovated property about 3 blocks from UNT. All units have renovated kitchens with a custom tile backsplash in the kitchen, refinished kitchen cabinets with new... hardware, LED lighting in the kitchen and dining area, new bathroom light fixtures, framed mirror, curved “hotel-style” shower rods, new towel bars and toilet paper holders, new Hunter brand ceiling fans throughout, ceramic tile and faux wood flooring throughout, living room and kitchen cornice and wood trim, and new door knobs throughout. Most units have granite countertops. Upgrades to black appliances, granite counters, and a dishwasher are available with an additional fee. The Oasis apartment homes have individual HVAC, so no messing with a chiller/boiler system with only hot or cold and no way to change it. Amenities at the Oasis include: Onsite Pet Park, laundry facilities, covered pergola with bbq area, bike racks, and plenty on-site parking. All Utilities included, so no extra utility deposits. Some units have a monthly electric use cap and rubbish fee is an additional $20/month.

Do not sign that lease
We moved in and were infested with german cockroaches. We kept on asking them to fumigate trying to work with them almost a whole month nothing until we gave our move out notice they came and fumigated. I would never ever rent for thirdrockproperties management again! All my school friends and people I know will know about this place so they wont rent.

Worst Customer Service, Disgusting Apartments and live bugs
We drove all the way out from California to help my daughter,her husand and their 1 year daughter make the move to Texas. My daughter found this apartment online did the virtual tour, and was so excited. When we arrived the apartment IS NOTHING, I MEAN NOTHING LIKE THE TOUR. The apartment was filthy, had live bugs and was not even cleaned. She was suppose to move in that day. After viewing the apartment two different days to where we were told it was now move in ready, it was no where NEAR move... in ready and we are legally breaking the lease. DO NOT RENT HERE. We have requested to speak with the owner of this company who will not return calls.

Roaches!!!
This property is infested with german roaches, and has been since we got here. To the leaser's credit, they come and spray every 2 months, but it is simply not enough. We do our part: don't leave food out, keep the sink and oven clean, we buy roach motels, but the roaches are everywhere. The walls are so thin throughout the apartment, you can hear conversations going on in the parking lot very clearly and loudly. The cabinets are sticky and do not close well due to several coats of paint. ... The counter-tops are not granite, but plastic. The handy man who comes is very condescending, we went an entire winter with no working heat because he didn't believe us that it wasn't working properly (he would come fix it, and it would break as soon as he left). If you are looking for a cheap apartment close to campus, this might serve your purpose. but if I were you, spend the extra hundred and go somewhere better.

We hate bugs and roaches too. Pest Control is included in the rent at Oasis. The units can be treated up to every two weeks, if needed, until any problems are gone- and our contracted pest company- Adams Pest, will provide free sticky traps if needed... . Please report any pest issues and they will be taken care of immediately. With any other concerns, please report as soon as possible also. We have about half the units with upgraded granite counters if you are looking for that. Thanks for the feedback.
