Legacy Estates at Frisco

Property Manager Katherine sends her team in front of her and only likes to come out and greet you with a smile and assured niceties when you are leasing. Have had multiple conversations with management about my unit and the temperature as well as an awful marajuana smell even though we do not smoke. I have chronic migraines and this has been a big struggle to come home to this on so many occasions. Looks on the outside can be deceiving. I thought it was nice too. Until I moved in and found out... there is absolutely no way to regulate the temperature of the entry with no outlets or vents from the garage door to the the front door and all the way up the stairs there is no way to regulate the temperature so it is either freezing or burning up. The team like to blame lack of staff, work load, weather which when you have a facility with maintenance needs is not the tenants problem. I needed my dryer repaired for over a month. Don’t have that many clothes or the time to continually go to a laundromat especially when I leased a place that had a dryer. Ended up having to buy my own dryer. I moved here in 2022 and have been here for a year. I have had roach issues since I moved in. My place has been sprayed so many times and nothing has worked, clearly infested. I have wasp issues. Two nests were removed upon moving but I kept getting them in my apartment. I think they have nests in the vents. I’ve had bees in my place and a few salamanders. No one ever answers the phone in leasing. Work orders go unanswered. Constant construction and noise. The apartments look nice but the issues... aren’t being fixed. I have lived at Legends for 4 years. I love the variety of floorplans, plenty of parking, well maintained grounds and responsive management team. The very few maintenance calls are very quickly fixed. Legends is quiet with friendly neighbors, no loud parties and pet friendly.

HAPPY LIVING HERE: I am perplexed by the negative reviews - as I have experienced none of them in 4 years! Don't know if they are being trolled or just hard to please former residence.

WOULD I MOVE HERE AGAIN?... ABSOLUTELY! Which is why I've been here so long and have lived in both the 2 & 3 bedroom homes.

WORK FROM HOME: I often work from my home office. No traffic or neighbor noise. A/C always works (new units installed in 2022). Utilities always work well.

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING: Legends is close to shopping, schools, malls and highways.

LOWEST CRIME: I just complete Frisco's PD's Citizen Academy. The patrol sector has the LOWEST crime rate in all of Frisco.

No I don't work here ... just a VERY HAPPY tenant in VERY WELL MANAGED apartment homes.

Would never recommend this place. Worst staff I have experienced of any apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. I have submitted maintenance requests for numerous problems and not a single one was addressed.

1) there are wasp nests inside the buildings air vents. As a result there’s been 6-7+ wasps in my house over the last couple weeks.
2) the mail system is broken and doesn’t give you the barcode required to actually retrieve your package. As a result have lost hundreds of dollars worth of... mail
3) staff is extremely rude. I have submitted requests about these problems, even went to the office in person to politely ask if these problems could be resolved. Got zero help and just got rude snarkish comments.
4) there is CONSTANT construction going on for the last 9 months now. And while this is out of everyone’s control, the hours this is performed is in unacceptable. By 7am every morning there’s loud noises from the unit above us and outside our building etc. wakes us up almost daily. Not to mention it goes on PAST MIDNIGHT into the middle of the night.

I could go on and on about how terrible this apartment complex is. Go see for yourself and compare to one of the other, much nicer complexes that are all within a 10 mile radius from this crap hole. Read More

Poorly kept, very dirty. Awful overlapping paint splatter. Cracked foundation. Trash everywhere. Concrete dirty and stained from leaking crash bags. It reeks of rotting meat juice. Parking is terrible. Closet shelf’s constantly falling off the wall. Zero room for storage. Perfect if you’re a minimalist. Units aren’t cleaned when you get them. If you want to feel a poor while paying luxury prices come on in.
