The people in this office are only here for money. Sure, that’s what businesses do, but good grief. I’ve always received my full deposit back and left on good terms with other apartments. Not here. They charged $600 after moving out, out of nowhere, saying there was pet odor. I am extremely diligent about cleaning upon move out, and was blindsided by this bill. Then they’ll hold onto your checks for weeks without depositing them. If you do move here, be very detailed in your inventory and… condition form, or they will come after you for every penny they can.

The problem is that it did NOT have pet odor. You just chose to take advantage of a resident moving out. It's sickening. And how do you charge for replacing the carpet, AND Pet Treatment? When we first moved in we enjoyed it. Property Manager seemed friendly and helpful. Then she just seemed like she lost interest and didn't care. Rent seems very high for a small studio apt. Apartment grounds need a lot of work. All apartments are so dated inside, and smell old! It took awhile to get any mantience done, but the mantience guys are friendly. We will be leaving when lease is up.

I love the location of Dove Creek Villas. Grapevine main street has wonderful shops and restaurants that are walking distance from here. There is a huge mall, Grapevine Mills, that is very close. Southlake is right down the road full of shopping and fun. And if that isn't enough, Dallas is just 20 minutes away. The staff here is very friendly. I'm in one of their townhouses. Its is newly remodeled with new appliances and hardwood floors downstairs. They are very pet friendly here. It is nice and… quiet. My unit does not have a washer/dryer hook up, that's the only slight inconvenience. Some units do have w/d, just not the townhouses. They do have a pretty nice laundry room by the office. I also had to purchase a microwave, there was not one included with the unit.

The clubhouse has free WiFi and a pool table. There is a nice swimming pool. I love the trees. My apt is in the shade almost all day. I've lived here about three months now and so far am happy with everything. Read More

Dove Creek Villas provides a lovely, tree-lined plot in Grapevine, close to DFW airport and great dining and entertainment, and equidistant from the downtowns of Dallas and Fort Worth. The complex is modestly-sized, not so large as to feel totally impersonal. Unique to these apartments from any I've lived in or visited is a wonderful excess of parking space - friends or family have never had trouble finding a spot when visiting.

I'm living in an approximately 650 square foot single-bedroom unit… on the second floor. I love the patio, wet bar, copious closets, and self-contained entry staircase with room for a little storage at the bottom. The biggest downside is that the place is a bit drafty - hot in summer and cold in winter. Besides the fireplace that I imagine lets out air no matter how tightly it's shut, the windows are single-pane and don't seem to be of the sturdiest quality. Double-pane windows would go a long way towards cutting energy costs and ensuring maximum comfort in extreme Texas weather. Read More
