Oaks at Jane Lane

This place is horrible. We’ve been without water going on 3 days and they don’t know when it’ll be back up. They don’t care at all that people have to go to work and school with no showers. When we bring up compensation for this inconvenience they get pissed yet don’t understand how the WHOLE complex is having to go through this. We pay to have a roof over our heads, hot water, ac central all of it. But they don’t wanna come out of pocket. Ridiculous. Office manager is rude af.

Apts kind of suck. Cheap rent. Company owners suck. Current mgr is good. Daniel in maint. is good.

Its what you make of it. Old bldgs & pipes & wires old. New mgr is great. New company does not care. Daniel in maint. is great. He keeps this place running. Cheap to get by. Could be nice if company cared.

I've lived in multiple states, and even another country, and yet I have never lived in such a run-down, depressing, two-bit complex. Why? First, massive bed bug infestations. There are mattresses, and other furniture in the dumpsters weekly. Also, roaches are a common find. So much for the required paid pest control. The grounds are run-down. The manager has changed at least six times in the last year. Kids run around all hours of the night. People don't clean up after pets. Rules are not... enforced. Management sends out threatening letters, but doesn't back up their own policies. Just this week, we were out of hot water for 2 1/2 days because of a water leak. About two or three weeks ago, there was another burst pipe that left us without hot water for 3 days. People litter, smoke, and cause problems. Use the heat or air? It smells like a fleabag smoker's motel. In closing, this is the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of calling "home," and I've lived in a 3rd world country. Read More
