New doesn’t always mean great !!!
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel this is important for anyone considering moving here.
The walls are extremely thin. You can hear neighbors use the restroom, flush toilets, talk on balconies, and have normal conversations word-for-word. If you value peace and privacy, this is not the place for you.
I unfortunately lived next to and above/below nightmare neighbors. My next-door neighbors blasted music so loudly my wine glasses rattled in the cabinet. My downstairs neighbor turned his unit... into what felt like a nightclub — my floors and bed vibrated nightly around 10 p.m. I called HPD non-emergency twice.
I submitted multiple complaints, recorded videos, and emailed the leasing office numerous times. While management did speak with the neighbors, the issue was never resolved. As soon as they left, the music would go right back up. Verbal warnings clearly carried no weight. Lease violations or fines may have been more effective.
I escalated the issue to corporate management and was repeatedly told, “Someone will reach out.” No one ever did. That lack of follow-through made me feel unheard.
The property has also dropped from a 5-star rating to around 4 stars in just a few months — that doesn’t happen without reason.
I hadn’t even lived there a full 30 days before deciding to leave. Although I was prepared to pay the termination fee, I was still required to give a 60-day notice and was charged over $7,000. Paying two additional months of rent for an apartment I wasn’t living in felt excessive.
The only way this property will improve is by properly insulating the units or strictly enforcing quiet hours with real consequences. Verbal warnings alone are not effective.
I hope this helps someone make an informed decision.
