Villas At West Road

I have reached out to the office twice regarding additional information about a certain unit during business hours. Immediately I received an email stating that the office is closed and to contact them back during business hours that was at 10:21 am. It clearly states that the office hours are from 9am-6pm for Monday, it is now the end of the day and I have yet to hear anything from anyone. I have lived here previously during the early 2010s and from management to maintenance team there were absolutely no issues. I came back to Villas due to the aforementioned positive experience after I sold my house to downsize. Unfortunately this past year at Villas however was filled with negative experiences. Noisy and inconsiderate upstairs neighbors which the o management was unable to resolve , unprofessional (current) office staff, plus the worse of all, hazardous mold in our apartment due… to a bad leak from the exterior drywall/roof. The only positive of living in this complex was the excellent maintenance team and their great work and timing to fix any issues. The buildings and appliances however are aging badly and desperately need some sort of renovation (painting the exterior does not cover the issues that come with aging buildings). The villas at West Road is situated at a great location, close enough to the freeways, stores and restaurants, it is unfortunate that they do not have the proper office staff to uphold their claim to be a “luxury” apartment. The best feature of this complex is their maintenance team, which always tackles any work orders promptly and is always courteous and respectful. Management however is incompetent in resolving issues regarding noisy neighbors and yard work as early as 7 A.M, as well as pet owners don’t pick up after their pets. The apartment buildings are nice with available attached garages, the only downside is that they are old and dated, and due for a renovation (resulting in more frequency maintenance/work… orders). The entire community is very well lit at night and safe for the most part, and there is a police officer on site 24/7 which is a huge contribution to keeping order. I lived in these apartments a while back, thinking about moving back to the area so I thought why not check these out again since the first time I had no problems. Walked in to talk to someone about looking at an apartment and I dont think I've ever run into people so disinterested in leasing an apartment in my life. So first, to the leasing agents - thanks for helping me make the decision of NO- I would never live here again, quick and easy for me. I can imagine what your residents have to go… through. (and confirmed through other reviews) She wouldnt even take the time to actually look to see when a certain floor plan would open up or offer to check out any of the other options. She gave the absolute minimum and that was only because I had to continually ask questions, no information was ever offered.
