Yorktown

I toured the property a couple months ago and there’s a bunch of notices from the city on the front of the leasing office which the agent refused to explain, the complex seems run-down, and they were very shady about not showing a unit in the size I was interested in. I would be cautious about this place.

Brandy has been so helpful since the very beginning. Moving is such a high stressful thing for me due to my crippling anxiety, and brandy was on top of it with all the paper work and helping us find the perfect apartment in our range and comfort. She also helps me every time i come to the office with any questions and lets me what what can be done. When I take my night walk I can see her working in the office after hours. From what I can see she puts so much time and devotion into her job. The... maintenance people are very hard working especially with such a big property. Extremely terrible complex with a careless management and very rude office employees! The galleria area is a nice neighborhood with many nice apartment complexes. If you have any other option other than Yorktown choose that! During my 12 months residence at Yorktown Apartments we experienced at least 8 tire thefts and one apartment break-in! The management does not care and does not see itself responsible for this lack of security! The entrance and exit gates are not working and left open during... the day and night at least once a week, enabling anyone to enter the complex at anytime! The complex is also bug infested with hundreds on roaches living in most apartment units. The complex’s Pest control activity is also no use, I used them twice in one year and it was no good! Eventually I had to take initiative for my own apartment and use roach killer spray in my unit! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Its surrond nice space for walk around nature with lots of trees..

I have been living at this complex since April 2021. The complex seemed nice at first but the charm wore off quickly. In October my motorcycle was stolen from one of the parking garages. I was able to determine a twenty minute window of when it happened as well as identifying the suspect, his accomplice, and his vehicle. Even with this information and the presence of cameras at the entrance and exits of the parking garage and the property itself, management said they were unable to see my... motorcycle or the suspect's vehicle leave the property.
