Mansions Eight65

My husband and I have been living at Mansions Eight65 with our two kids in a two bedroom home and we have really enjoyed it here. It has been a comfortable place for our family. The bedrooms are spacious and we never feel cramped. There is plenty of storage and having our own garage and backyard has been such a plus with kids. The backyard gives them space to play and it is nice to have that privacy.

The office team has always been kind and helpful whenever we have had questions. Move in was... smooth and anytime we have stopped by or called, they have been polite and willing to help. We have not had any negative experiences with them.

The only small issue we have had is over the summer we noticed a few ants in the kitchen, which can happen anywhere in Texas when it gets hot. We let the office know and pest control came out quickly as part of the service they provide. The ants were taken care of and we have not had a problem since. I have been renting here for 15 months and just renewed my lease. I have a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house that is huge! It's just me and my 2 kids and we all have our very own connected bathroom. The community is well kept and all of the girls in the office have always been so kind. Even the maintenance staff is welcoming and make you feel part of the community. Take bad reviews with a grain of salt and come check this place out! We love it here!

Make sure you ask lots of questions about your lease. There are misleading disclosures regarding the move-out process. Essentially, no matter how well you keep your property or how clean you leave it, you will be charged fees and your deposit will not be fully returned. We also had issues with nuisance neighbors that were not adequately addressed. Notably, this is advertised as a gate community, but the gate is never closed.

You normally expect to have issues in a property after some months, well. I'm in my first week and my fear came true, property management have a serious issue of lack of communication or been helpful to fix an issue. They have the Spectrum bulk service (cable and internet charge in your lease) for that your address needs to be added in their contract. I signed my lease on June 12th, getting my keys on September 25th and still on October 4th they haven't put my address in their Spectrum account... and for that reason I don't have still and internet that I'm already paying.
Mansions leasing is terrible in answer emails or even call you for an update of status, phone service sucks here, internet is definitely something that you need in this area. Read More
