Hermosa Village Apartments

There was supposed to be a half acre dog park - in fact their website indicates that it exists. I was told by management recently that there are no plans to install it. In fact, last week they installed a small "pen" right in front of a building. No mulch, seating etc. just a little mud pit. There is a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the complex but dogs are not allowed. They run the the entire sprinkler simultaneously two-three nights a week in the early evening- so no walking your... dog after dinner or before bed. Several times this year they sent one-day notice that workers would be entering the apartment and that dogs must be confined- how is that supposed to work? Read More

There is something cool and exciting about being one of the first tenants at Hermosa Village. The rest of the complex is still being built and the pool and outdoor community spaces have yet to be fully done. Summer is over, so I'm not bothered. (I will come and update when those bits are completed.)
So far everyone who works here has been absolutely fantastic and very attentive to resident needs and requests. The floor plans are spacious and quite affordable compared to other, not as new,... complexes in the area. I think the location is fantastic as well, you are right in the midst of everything you could need. I know there is retail space out in front that has yet to be developed, but when it is done it will be great to have shops within short walking distance.
