After struggling with faulty electrical breakers for over half our lease, and a broken A/C for almost the entire lease, I’m really quite exhausted by the effort it requires to get the management and staff to actually do their jobs and take proper care of our home. Maintenance requests often need to be followed up on by the tenant but the quality of service and attention to the residents has been a roller coaster from bad to worse. The manager just deletes the requests after a while, partly... because they can’t seem to keep maintenance staff.. or any staff for that matter. We’ve had 4 property managers in the year that we’ve lived here. There are still requests that have not been addressed since our first day in the unit, ex: a missing shelf in our fridge, a missing towel bar in our guest bath, and a hole in our pantry door (all caused by the previous tenant). The rent is more than many mortgages! You would be better off getting your own place and actually paying your own contractors and repair techs who actually know what they are doing.
