LOTS of problems due to aging building and apartments
Honestly, I am pretty bummed to have to leave this review because I loved the staff and community, but the apartment quality needs to be outlined for other prospective tenants.
I moved in to my unit in November 2023 (Currently June 1, 2026), and have had issues since the beginning including ~5 floods and 6 different instances where my AC unit went out.
Starting 3.22.2024, my AC unit went out. No issue at first, but when the AC goes out 5 more times after that then it becomes an issue. After... repeated requests and the issue not resolving, I was able to FINALLY obtain a new AC unit 9.8.2025.
My unit has flooded 5 times since moving in - the property has given me $0 in assistance for this despite every flood being related to the aging property. (My water heater broke, my neighbors water heater broke, my neighbor's pipe broke, etc.)
Additionally, I had two instances where water was seeping into my unit underneath the baseboards. It took multiple work orders to get this fixed and then another work order to fix the water damage.
Recently my undermounted sink fell out from underneath my countertop in my kitchen. Upon inspecting underneath it appeared that there was a lot of black mold that caused the wood supporting the sink to rot away completely.
They fixed the sink but didn't seal it properly, when I questioned about it I was told it was no issue. My sink has leaked ever since then.
I had an issue with water damage in other parts of my unit and what appeared to be mold growing on the windows but when the vendors came to fix it all it looks like it was just painted over.
Also, they painted my windows shut....
Now most recently my dishwasher is broken. I submitted a work order to get it fixed and it was fixed promptly, then broke again.
Maintenance then told me that one of the reasons is because I am using dawn dish soap on my dishes when I wash the food off of them. My dishwasher was broken where it just kept filling.
Lastly I would comment on the very frequent unit inspections. Each quarter it seems like we have 2-3 inspections that have to occur that can be real inconvenient.
The property manager has been helpful through this but the overall situation is an absolute nightmare.
