La Silva Apartments is now under new ownership and management, and we are fully committed to correcting the problems that existed in the past. Since taking over, we’ve made safety, maintenance, and resident experience our top priorities. Specifically, we have:

Repaired and reinforced perimeter fencing along Starcrest to ensure a secure environment for residents, children, and pets.

Increased property inspections and maintenance response times to prevent future issues like missing boards.

Scheduled consistent upkeep of community amenities to ensure the gym and pool remain open, clean, and operational.

Strengthened our partnership with local law enforcement and added community patrols to increase security and peace of mind for all residents.

We understand that safety and reliability are essential, and we are working hard every day to create a community that residents can truly feel confident living in. We hope you begin to see and feel the positive changes taking place under the new management.

We truly understand how frustrating and disappointing this situation must have been for you and your boyfriend, especially after putting so much effort and planning into your… move. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the lack of communication, preparation, and professionalism you encountered.

Since your experience, La Silva Apartments has transitioned to new ownership and management, and we want to assure you that the concerns you described are not reflective of the standards we uphold today. We recognize that delayed move-ins, unclear information, and unfinished units are unacceptable, and we have implemented several improvements to ensure these issues do not happen again:

Pre-Move-In Inspections: Every unit is now thoroughly inspected and approved by management before move-in to confirm that it is clean, fully maintained, and move-in ready.

Improved Communication: Our leasing and maintenance teams have new communication protocols to provide residents with timely, accurate updates—especially around scheduling or unexpected delays.

Quality Control in Maintenance & Repairs: All make-ready work is reviewed by our maintenance supervisor prior to releasing keys to new residents.

Accountability & Transparency: We now maintain detailed documentation and photo verification of each unit to ensure a higher standard of readiness and resident trust.

We are truly sorry that your first impression of La Silva was not what it should have been. Our current team is dedicated to rebuilding trust with residents and future residents by focusing on professionalism, honesty, and quality service.
