Carrara at Cypress Creek is an apartment community in Spring, TX
Apartments are falling apart and management company will not invest any money into fixing problems. Gates are wide open, fence is falling down all around property, holes in siding, raccoons and bats living in attic, mold in units and plumbing is always needing repairs leading to unexpected shutoffs. If you turn in a maintenance request they will simply cancel it if they don’t want to fix it. Then when you leave they will send you a final amount owed but provide no way to pay it because you’ve... been removed from the resident portal and they won’t accept cash, check or money order claiming it has to go to collections and you can pay it that way. Poorly run company running a poorly maintained property.

Anywhere but here!
Please, please, please! Do not get a lease here. They treat you like absolute garbage. There are roaches and raccoons everywhere. Terrible, half-done renovations and poor infrastructure. Right now, they are changing their operating systems and payment system; however, I was supposed to be on automatic payment, and since their system didn't pick it up, I did not reach the due date. Consequently, I received an eviction notice, giving me only 5 days to leave the premises. It's absolutely horrendous... with no compassion. If you mess up in any way, they will ruin you, but they can do whatever they want. It's terrible - bad service, bad housing, bad gym, bad pool.
Do not come here; get another location if possible. My apartment is completely disgusting and smells like a chain smoker was here for years. It literally makes me ill every time I walk in the door. I've tried everything to get the smell out. And when I asked for service, they said they would send a cleaning service, but they never did.
Furthermore, I was moving cross-state, a 10-hour drive, and on the day of my arrival, they changed the apartment we had previously agreed upon and gave me this disgusting place instead. They also did not let me in because I had paid for a month in advance and arrived a few days early. I had to go to the bank to get a cashier's check and pay for 6 additional days on top of the month I already paid for. I had informed them well in advance that I would be arriving 6 days early and that I had a U-Haul, so I wanted to move in as fast as possible. However, they completely disregarded my request and didn't accommodate my needs.
In summary, I strongly advise against coming here. The living conditions and treatment are appalling. Find another location if at all possible.

We sincerely apologize for the experiences you've had to endure and understand your frustration. It's heart-breaking to learn that we have fallen significantly short of your expectations in so many areas. Dealing with pests, late notice evictions and... smell problems is by no means a pleasant experience and we're sorry that our service response did not adequately address your concerns. We also deeply regret the change of apartment on your arrival day and unsatisfactory responses regarding early accommodation which have clearly added to your disappointment. Rest assured; we are taking these allegations very seriously as they do not reflect the standards, we strive for at all. We will be looking into each point brought up in this review to help us improve. We empathize with the inconvenience caused during such a challenging cross-state move and assure you it is never our intention to make anyone’s life difficult or uncomfortable.
Again, please accept our deepest apologies for any distress caused. If there's anything more we can do or if you would like us to take another look into any issues raised here, kindly get in touch directly so that we may assist further.

The Only Review You Need
If you like to live with constant roaches, terribly half done “renovations” and management that could care less than Carrara is the place for you. You get to enjoy all kinds of critters that find their way into you unit due to the poor infrastructure and terribly “renovated” units. Not to mention potholes that fill with water and hard to see at night or in the rain so you can enjoy a nice bumpy ride on your way back to your horrible unit. I know you’ve seen those well dressed photos online. Be... assured that your unit will look like that but 10000x worse. Complete with painted over water damage, painted over countertops, and even a painted bathtub!! Be at ease knowing that the faulty front gate never works (be sure not to keep valuables out). Here at Carrara you truly get what you pay for. If you can afford about $200 more dollars a month please do yourself a favor and look else where or else you’ll be calling roaches and brown water your friend. Be sure to reach out to management for more information, you’ll be met with condescending remarks and awful resident service.

Absolutely Awful
It should be criminal that they don’t show you anything other than their model unit. We were moving from out of state and had a relative come tour the place and she asked if she could tour a unit other than the model and they gave her the runaround of “we don’t have any available for showing.” We know why now! Ants, cockroaches, flies and hair in the epoxy they put on their countertops to “remodel.” The floor was laminated wood throughout, which was cool but there was very obvious holes in the... master bedroom where a queen bed would fit. Holes in the walls where plumbing goes into the wall from the toilets. Holes in the baseboards that look very evident of rodents. At least our appliances were actually updated. My husband actually went and got the property manager and asked her if she really thought the apartment was “move in ready” like we were promised and all she did was say that she can’t give us a refund and that the best she can do is three months of free wifi. If we could have walked away then, we would have. Now we’re so desperate to leave that we’re moving four weeks after I’m due to give birth to our second child.

This place has gone downhill
This was never a great apartment complex, but somehow the new management (took over in 2020) has made it worse. Maintenence requests are all ignored. I've been trying for OVER A YEAR to get them to fix my air conditioner. The community laundry room was out of commission for about 4 months. There's already mold in the almost brand new fitness center. It gets a 2-star rating, rather than 1-star, because it is a lot cheaper than other places. They're raising the rent significantly on the... "renovated" units, though. Don't fall for the hype about the new flooring and new appliances. You'll still be in a place with a perpetually broken air conditioner.
