Marquis at The Woodlands

I would not recommend this apartment complex based on my experience. The property has ongoing plumbing issues that caused damage to my personal belongings and the flooring in my apartment. Dealing with property damage is stressful enough, but the way management handled the situation made it even more frustrating.
Rather than taking responsibility for the inconvenience, I was told that if I wanted to transfer to another unit because of the plumbing problems, I would be responsible for paying the... transfer fees as well as the costs of transferring my utilities and other services. Those expenses should not fall on residents when the need to relocate is caused by issues with the property.

Management is also very aggressive when it comes to collecting rent and enforcing payment deadlines, yet that same urgency is missing when it comes to resolving serious maintenance problems. Residents are expected to meet every obligation on time, but management does not appear to hold itself to the same standard when repairs and resident concerns are involved.

I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service. Renters deserve a safe, well-maintained home and a management team that takes responsibility when property issues cause damage and disruption. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend living here. Read More

I’ve been here a little over 6 months now and this has been one of the best apartment complexes I’ve ever lived in. When I first moved to Houston, I had a very stressful week stuck in a motel trying to find an apartment. I looked at a bunch of different places, but they always had something wrong with them. When I finally called the staff here at the Marquis, I knew my search was over. The ladies in the office were amazing to work with and they helped me get the perfect apartment. Seriously,... the staff wend above and beyond to help me out. The apartment itself is 100 times better than anything else in this price range that I had found. Since moving in, they have been very vigilant in keeping the community safe, clean, and quiet.
