DO NOT LEASE HERE
Our experience during the application and leasing process was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
We applied for a 2-bedroom apartment at a specific advertised price. The property manager, Cathy, told us she would be able to hold that apartment for us until our move-in date. Based on that information, we moved forward and signed the lease agreement for the apartment we were told we would be receiving.
After signing the lease, we did not receive any communication for approximately three... months. When we eventually followed up, we were informed that our apartment number had been changed without any prior notice. In addition, the rental price was changed from what we originally agreed to in the lease.
When we called to ask for clarification about these changes, Cathy spoke to us in a very unprofessional manner and raised her voice during the conversation. Rather than addressing the issue or explaining why the changes were made after the lease was signed, she placed the blame on us.
We entered the agreement in good faith based on the information provided to us and the lease we signed. Having major details changed without communication was frustrating and concerning. Based on this experience alone, it raises questions about how communication and professionalism might be handled for residents in the future.
