A resident drove their car thru the garage door of our building six months ago and management has failed to fix it, by claiming they “waiting for parts to arrive, please it don’t take six months to fix a garage door, they have no plan in place and now the safety of the residents here is compromised because just anyone can walk in and break into your car, access the building, cause trouble, etc. The management team is useless and does nothing to address the problem, we moved out because of how... little they care and how much they gouge for rent. The elevated always broke and garage door always broke and I try switch unit and the lady in office told me I can made me pay holding fee then I walk in office the day before I suppose to move she say she forgot some how I didn’t get approved cause one payment was late out of 3 years told me I can’t switch unit or go to a never property ran by udr

When issues arise, don’t expect support or understanding. Management seems more focused on shifting blame than resolving problems. I was recently accused of harboring a pet—despite the fact that my dog passed away in January. I personally went to the leasing office to inform them and was told no further action was needed. Yet, I later discovered pet rent charges on my portal and was accused of lying. They insisted on inspecting my apartment because a maintenance worker—who entered without my... presence—claimed to see “evidence of a pet” simply because my late dog’s belongings were still there.
During the recent furlough, I asked about options in case I faced financial hardship. I was told they would proceed with their usual process, with no flexibility or empathy offered. Rent is sky-high, communication is nonexistent, and repairs are limited to patching up broken items without any real updates or improvements. This property charges a monthly fee to receive packages. The rent is high and the appliances are breaking down. Parking fees are also high along with utilities. The price would be acceptable if the amenities, buildings, elevators, etc. weren't in such bad shape.
