Repeated Lack of Respect for Residents’ Time

I previously left a review about how this office handles notice and scheduling for apartment entry, but removed it because I was told it could negatively impact people who weren’t responsible. Unfortunately, management has now done essentially the same thing again.

For a planned community-wide Wi-Fi installation, management previously told us in writing that we would receive at least 72 hours’ notice if apartment entry was required. Instead, my building received less than 24 hours’ notice and a… two-day window with no indication of which day they would actually enter. When I called, the office immediately told me I was scheduled for September 8th. They had an actual date. They simply didn’t tell us, while expecting residents to set aside two days of their lives.

The 8th was impossible for me, so I had to push for the 9th and cancel and move meetings to make it work. I raised this exact issue earlier this year after incorrect scheduling information cost me an entire workday. Apparently, nothing changed.

My criticism is not directed at maintenance or the technicians. It is directed at a poorly run management office that repeatedly shows little respect for residents’ time.

Meh

Location is nice and apartments are modern. Lots of issues with noisy, inconsiderate neighbors and despite talking to management for months about it and sending proof of disturbances, nothing is done. Rent is ridiculously high and keeps going up, the trash compactor is almost always shut down for several days at a time each month. The parking areas alone can be a hassle - I had someone scrape the front of my car horribly and ding it while parked here, and people will drive around revving their… engines late at night.

Terrible management

Run away, the management team at this place treats customers terribly. First, they increase the rent by almost 40% after a year, then if you don't want to stay they will charge you a ridiculous fee for moving out.

Luxury apts

Nice apts! Landscaping is nice, amenities are decent. Rooms and storage are mega big! Screened in porches, no breed restrictions!! Garages are affordable, fully gated community. Wish they had valet trash because compactor is far... Garages need to be updated, it has old keypads...washer and dryer like any apts are old top loaders. Smart rent which is home automation is a nice touch but could be better as far as options.

Overall is a great place to live and I think anyone moving in would be… impressed if you saw it In person.

Avoid at all cost

I’ll never live in an MAA apt again, this place slaps you with fees every chance they get and treat tenants like petulant children while using them as props in their doll house to attracts more people to their poorly run apartment complex where things are falling apart or broken all the time
