Not what it appears
The location is nice and the units are spacious, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.
The initial move-in special is appealing, but rent was increased by 20% (about $300) at renewal. When I asked about negotiating or receiving any concessions, the request was declined. There is also no grace period for rent — if it’s not paid by the first, it’s considered late.
Utility costs have been consistently high because the units do not have heat pumps and rely on emergency heat. As a... result, electric bills are very expensive. On top of that, hot water only lasts about 3–5 minutes at most. I’ve submitted multiple work orders, and while I’m told the issue is fixed, the problem continues and I’m still unable to take a normal-length hot shower.
If you work from home, be aware that the required $70 internet package is unreliable. I experienced several outages and ultimately had to purchase additional service through Xfinity to maintain my job. When I requested a credit for the inconvenience, I was given $20. Management later sent a mass email stating that if the internet goes out, residents must contact Pavlov Media directly, as it is not their responsibility.
Overall, while the property looks nice, the rising costs, utility issues, and lack of support have been disappointing.
