Do not move here !
I want to share my recent experience so other residents are aware.
I was charged $550.75 for a “fire alarm system- NAC fault.” After reviewing the invoice, I noticed it listed multiple units and used general language stating that “residents” caused the issue, but it did not identify my unit or provide any proof that I was responsible.
I also confirmed there was no recorded fire alarm incident tied to my unit. Additionally, the fire alarm system components are not accessible to tenants, as they... are located within secured areas and building infrastructure.
Despite requesting clarification and documentation, no specific evidence has been provided showing that I caused the issue.
I recommend that residents carefully review any charges and request detailed documentation before accepting responsibility for system related fees.
UPDATE: As of 5/29/26
I am still dealing with an unresolved dispute regarding a fire alarm-related charge that was added to my account. I have repeatedly requested supporting documentation showing how management determined that my unit was responsible, but to date I have only been provided with a vendor invoice.
At the same time, I continue to receive balance due notices demanding payment. My concern is not just the charge itself, but the lack of transparency regarding the evidence used to support it.
In addition, residents have experienced numerous building-wide fire alarm activations over time, including alarms requiring fire department responses. These repeated incidents have disrupted residents' daily lives and raise questions about the overall condition of the alarm system.
I am simply asking for clear documentation and a fair review of the dispute. Until then, this matter remains unresolved.
