River Vista Apartments

Dingy, stained, and generally poorly maintained stairwells will greet you on your way to the overpriced and neglected landlord-special we try to call "home". The appliances are serviceable, but there is little to no care taken to maintain the rest of the building. Many power outlets and light switches don't work. Doors are falling from their cracking frames. Locks are broken. When I arrived, I was greeted by mismatched blinds masking broken window panes. The paint on the cabinets is gluey and... sticky, applied in a rushed attempt to mask obvious flaws. Paint on the walls is chipped and cracked. Cabinet doors fail under their own weight. Towel racks fall out of the wall upon the application of, you guessed it, one single towel. There's litter in the stairwells, walkways, parking lots, and surrounding environment. From the moment we saw the apartment, we wanted to move in. It has been a great experience living here! The staff has been very friendly and has guided us through the moving process. The apartment conditions have been very nice and well kept.

Great community, great staff, bad apartments. They need to fix these apartments instead of charging full price for rushed apartments. Cabinets put in incorrectly. Screws drilled in at angles. Evidence shows as if the entire apartment was quickly done without regard for quality.

Very easy to apply and move in when I arrived. Staff has been very friendly. Attractive grounds overall.

The Floorplan layout is phenomenal! Neighbors have dogs but you do not hear them in your home. Lovely slate fireplace, stylish countertops & cabinets, and updated lighting. If there are any maintenance issues- they handle it quickly and effectively. No issues with bugs or rodents! There is a huge draft in the Windows - so prepare to make some small updates ( Blackout curtains or plastic window seal). Overall, I would recommend River Vista.
