Driftwood Apartments

My partner and I have lived in a two-bedroom apartment with a den at Driftwood for the past two years, and we have truly enjoyed our experience. We are sad to be leaving, but we are looking for a new home that offers an in-unit washer and dryer and a balcony.

Overall, our time at Driftwood has been wonderful. While not having an in-unit washer and dryer was occasionally inconvenient, the on-site laundry facilities more than made up for it. The laundry room is well-maintained, the machines are... efficient, and there is almost always a washer or dryer available. On the rare occasion that a machine breaks down, management is quick to report the issue, and repairs are usually completed within a day or two.

Driftwood is also extremely pet-friendly. We have two cats and have always felt welcomed as pet owners. The pet waste stations located throughout the community help keep the grounds clean, and we have never had any significant issues with other residents’ pets.

We were fortunate to have a renovated apartment, and it has been a very comfortable place to call home. Our unit receives a great amount of natural light, which makes the space feel bright and inviting. The only minor drawback is the lack of overhead lighting in the bedrooms, but that was easily solved with a few lamps and accent lights.

The biggest highlight of living at Driftwood has been the management and maintenance teams. They have consistently been professional, friendly, and responsive. A special shoutout goes to Ms. Lori in the leasing office, who has always been incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive throughout our time here. Whether it’s sending reminders about important deadlines, answering questions, or helping residents navigate the leasing process, she truly goes above and beyond. The maintenance team has been equally impressive, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.

If you’re looking for a well-managed, pet-friendly community with a responsive staff and comfortable living spaces, I would absolutely recommend Driftwood. We have had a great two years here and will definitely miss calling it home. Read More

I have been a resident of driftwood for about 7ish years? The workers are very nice and outgoing, it really needed new management and I am glad they went through with it.

Positive things: Decent rent price, A lot of sunlight, welcoming feel, exceptional staff, great for pet owners.

Bad things: I live on the upper floor, and I still have a huge insect problem, I can only imagine how bad it is on the bottom. Mold, thin walls, and very weak floors. I am frightened of disturbing my neighbors due... to the excessive noise of each single step on the floor, it always creaks. I also hate HATE HATE the dog poop, ITS EVERYWHERE. There was dog poop on the steps leading to my apartment door. People do not know how to pick up their dogs waste, we complained to the office about it, and while they were really kind about it, they haven't solved the problem yet. I also wish that washer and dryer hookups were included in the apartments, I am so tired of paying and walking all away to the laundry facility with all the weight of the clothes. I was blessed with a nice renovated apartment hallway, however, when I am visiting my friends at another apartment hallway in Driftwood the first thing I notice is that disgusting stench that hits you. Only about like 3 of the apartment hallways are renovated, the rest are stuck in whatever year Driftwood was constructed with the smelly carpet and cracked walls.

I wanted to move to the three bedroom apartment but it is IMPOSSIBLE to find, every now and then I check with the office to see if one is vacant but it never is. We are in a rush for a three bedroom apartment because we are a family of four in a two bedroom apartment, this may be my last year here if a 3 bedroom unit is not vaccant by the time my lease renews.

If you are in a very tight situation for money, I think its a decent option compared to other apartments, however, if you have a good amount of money to spent for apartment rent, I think you should keep looking. Read More

I can truly honestly say that I enjoy living here at the Driftwood Apartments located at 1600 Diamond Springs Road.
It was a friendly, pleasant, professional experience talking with Mrs. Lori the property manager at this location as well! She was very professional, helpful, kindhearted, all throughout the entire process from the beginning to I actually move into the my new apartment! And doing the day off move in Mrs. Lori walk me in and gave me another tour of the latest updated remodel... apartment as well!
So if you decide to move here TRUST ME you won’t be disappointed at all, HONESTLY!
My neighbors are nice, friendly, pleasant, and quiet as well.
I’m enjoying my new apartment that’s located surrounding plenty of restaurants, shopping centers, and only 10 minutes away from the Ocean Front Beach as well!

Staff is unfriendly, rude, and liars. Not enough Parking and no amenities.
Mold, roaches, and paper thin walls. Deff not worth the money. I can’t wait to get out of my lease and be done with this place. At this point I am looking at legal action to see what can be rectified with my situation. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Roaches and mold. I’m a very clean person have lived in multiple apartments and never had bugs. Saw roaches my first day moving in and exterminators can’t solve the problem and it’s been a year. There’s bugs in the staircase and whenever maintenance comes into your home be prepared to clean up after them. I would save my money and use it somewhere else. It’s not worth it.
