The Ridge at Bellevue

I am so stressed and exhausted from all the time it takes to fix my bathroom. My bathroom in my apartment has not been used for 4 weeks and the truth is that they are so messy in the administration of these apartments and there are too many cockroaches. I do not recommend anyone come to live here in I have not experienced these complexes more stressful than this…..more than here at Ridge at Bellevue….. When we first decided to apply to this property, we loved the idea of it being completely renovated and it's prime location. The property recently got new management so that is why everything was being upgraded. We applied to a 2 bedroom that wasn't set to be ready until a month and half later which was fine with us. Throughout the weeks I was in contact with the property manager to make sure everything was set. My first mistake was disregarding the fact that every time I had asked to see the... apartment before it was officially ready, she just never answered my question. Fast forward to the week of our move in and I wanted to know what time we could pick up our keys - No response. I started to worry and on the day of our move in, my fiance went to the office and the people there had no clue we were suppose to move in. To top it off, our home wasn't even done being renovated. It still needed cabinets, countertops and lighting. Basically unlivable and uncleaned. We only anticipated a day to move in because it was just down the road from our old place. They had nothing that they could transfer us into that was comparable and on top of that nothing was guaranteed as compensation for our troubles. The girl who was filling in didn't know any thing and could not give us a time when our apartment was going to be even ready. She said it could be a week or a few weeks but at this point, they had ample time to plan everything so we were frustrated. We signed a lease to move in that day and our home was already leased. The management here is so unorganized and unprofessional, I do not suggest any one move here. I work in property management and I know the standards and this was a breach of contract that we could've escalated further. We never got a call or an email from upper management apologizing for the mistake and when I did email them asking them to confirm that our lease was going to be voided, I received a one sentence email.
