Pros and Cons
Like everything in life, Ovations on Meeker has pros and cons.
The Good: the building is relatively new (2 years) with a variety of community rooms on the first floor as well as gated parking. Public areas are mostly clean and well maintained with management staff on property 6 days a week. Residents are generally friendly.
The Not So Good: the elevators break down on a regular basis, the windows are low quality, there is no air conditioning above the first floor, there is constant loud... noises from trains, and traffic plus the downtown area is not safe.
Most annoying, the garage only has enough spots for half the units, and the parking spaces are tiny. What brilliant architect or contractor thought that seniors could squeeze into spaces that only allow a few inches between vehicles.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed overview of your experience. We appreciate hearing what you’ve enjoyed about the community, including the shared spaces, on-site team presence, and overall upkeep.
We also understand your... concerns regarding elevator reliability, window quality, seasonal temperature challenges, and outside noise. Some of these items relate to building design and surrounding neighborhood activity, while others (like elevator service) are issues our team continues to monitor and address with contracted vendors. Parking is a valuable but limited amenity, and space sizes are determined by the original building design; however, we recognize that it can feel tight for some vehicles, and we appreciate you sharing that feedback.
If you would like to discuss any of these items further or have specific concerns we can look into, please feel free to contact us at manager@ovationmeekerwa.com or 253-544-3704. We’re here to help.
Thank you,
Ovation at Meeker Management Team
