Highlander East Apartments

I'm glad I got in when I did, living in downtown Kirkland for this price is almost unheard of. Not to mention my lil' apartment is cute as heck :) The new manager is friendly and helpful as well as the maintenance man really seems to care about his quality and timing of work. It's refreshing and I'm excited for the changes that are happening around me.

The new management company Suhrco has no consideration for the tenants. Within just a few months of taking over the management of the property they have taken down the covered parking with no promise or timeline to replace them. Threatened to tow any vehicle that was not moved out of the way for painting of the building. They forced us to sign an new lease even though our previous contract stated that we would be switched over to month to month after it had expired. They threatened to nearly... double our month to month rent if we did not sign a new lease and then still raised the rent if we did sign. They have no compassion for the tenants and are bully's when it comes to any negotiations. I would strongly reconsider signing one of their 20 page plus agreement which has numerous clauses that have no bearing on the Highlander East facility. you are asked to sign several times and initial once or twice per page. I have purchased a few homes in my life and I didn't have to sign anywhere near as often as I did for this rental agreement.
