Great Apartment Near the Water!

I’ve been loving at the Westwater apartments for just over a year now and can’t get enough of it. It’s great price, great location, in the keep adding stuff to the community. It’s very central, which is one of the reasons that I liked it at first, but the building itself is pretty stable, and not many issues. They just hired a few new people to the team and they’ve been a great addition to the community so far! They were out a Maintenance guy for about a few months, but they just hired one as a… tech and he seems to know what he’s doing, which is nice. Very pet friendly community so it’s nice to see all the dogs and animals in the hallways and out and about. Luckily, it’s pretty quiet and still close to shops and good food spots.

Worstwater

If you like living in a construction zone, this is the place for you! No paint or carpet in the common areas for 4 months. The elevator breaks down regularly. The building was poorly built and in a constant state of disrepair. No amenities provided. But it's been an educational experience because now I know what it would be like to live in North Korea. On the plus side, the neighborhood is awesome.

Pass on this place

Terrible management and maintenance Staff is never accessible and rude. Keep changing staff and 'forget' to fix things.
Contracts are shady to say the least and they pile on additional fees for everything yet provide minimum.
While I lived here I had maintenance requests for the same things for over two years. Elevator is unsafe and hasn't been inspected since 2013. Fire exits are pitch black even when a fire alarm goes off. Deck railing and glass is slipping---unsafe for children. Front… entry call box was broken the entire time...so no company could be buzzed in. Vents are filthy and impact allergies. Lots of dogs barking all the time.
