DIFFERENT VERSION OF REMODEL
I would not waste time looking at this property. They just went under a remodel however the remodel is terrible!!! Most of the work in the kitchen and bath is not all the way completed. You can see the kitchen floor which just got remodeled but you the corners/edges of the kitchen aren't sealed it's open and looks like they were in a rush to rent it before completing the whole remodel. They also changed the washer/dryer and it's new but the old one seems to be working better then the new one... that was put in. They are asking for a high priced rental amount when the remodel isn't completed. OHHHH another issue is PARKING! You can NEVER find parking here. Tell your guest to UBER/LYFT if they plan to visit you. You get 1 stall which you pay for extra NOT included in rent. Overall, if you love CSI this is the spot to be. There is crime on the property around the clock. LOOK AWAY FOLKS ITS NOT WORTH YOUR $$$

Well...
It's not a bad place to live, but it’s definitely not the fancy apartment complex it’s advertised to be online. I’m a sucker since the pictures are pretty misleading. Use current pictures of the outside, of parking, of the windows that need cleaning. Shiny countertops, new appliances and a rug won’t fix the infrastructure that badly needs renovating/fixing, especially at an EXTREMELY high cost for rent. Why is this place so expensive when the other places around this area aren’t as much?
So.... I’ve had more bug bites inside my unit than any other place- and no, these aren’t bed bugs or fleas. I’m super clean, too, don’t have any pets or plants, and have been laying out traps, spraying and praying that the bugs leave me in peace. I’ve seen tons of spiders and other types of unknown insects buzzing/crawling around here usually coming from the badly caulked windowsills, doorframes and the dirty cupboards…and some windows don't have screens.
And the constant water shut offs are a major issue for a lot of us tenants. If I would have known there would be weekly 7-8 hour Fridays with no backups or alternatives, or “sorry you can’t take a shower or flush the toilet” every Friday, I would have thought twice about this place. A the very least offer a discounted rent for the inconvenience of extensive and constant shut offs. Be honest and state it on their site that there are water shut offs.
Is there security who patrol parking, noise? It says so, but I haven’t seen anyone yet. Plus, the same cars stay permanently parked in the open street parking so everyone is fighting for that one spot that opens. Want visitors? Forget it. Also, kids roam around her like they own the place, taking over the pool, too.
No matter how hard this place tries, it won’t be a luxury apartment complex. Again, it's not bad, but...Be honest and lower the rent to what the people living here experience.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your honest feedback. We are aware of the water challenges and are very sorry for the inconvenience. The property was built with one shutoff to all buildings. As a result, anytime a leak occurred the entire... community was without water. We identified the need for a long term resolution and we are excited to be wrapping up installation of a shutoff valve to all 40 buildings! This will eliminate the shut off of water to the entire community moving forward and allow us to isolate the issue at hand. Thank you for your patience as we wrap this project up. We would like to address the bug concerns you are experiencing and resolve this issue. We have weekly service to the property and would be happy to have additional service provided to the area around your building. We would also love the opportunity to understand what concerns you have with the infrastructure. We take this seriously and want to hear your feedback. We share your concerns regarding the vehicles parked on the street and are working with the city to have them removed. If you feel inclined, you can also reach out to the city of Seattle with feedback as every call helps. Their phone number is (206) 684-7623. To ensure we address your concerns directly, please contact our leasing office at 206-767-3300 or our Community Manager directly at meagenm@thrivecommunities.com. We look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve your concerns.

Do Not Live Here
Are you looking for safe, reliable place to live with attentive property managers and regularly working utilities? Well, this is not the place for you!!! This property features:
• Semi-regular gun violence! Do you love excitement? Well this is the place for you. Twice in the last year the property has had damage from bullets due to gunfire from SW Kenyon Street. One of the shootings actually resulted in bullets coming through the back window of one of the apartments on the first floor in... the middle of the night!
• Regular water leaks! Hope you don’t like regular showers, doing your laundry, or even drinking water. Someone, somewhere on the complex is always experiencing a water leak, and because of the way the complex was built, it means the water is shut off for most of the community for hours at a time! Several times over the past year, it was days at a time!
• Complete inability to get anyone from the property management office to respond to repeated calls or visits! Continual turnover at the property management office means that simple questions go unanswered and serious issues get ignored until you give up on asking about them! And what about going to Thrive Corporate to get your concerns addressed? Good luck! You may as well send smoke signals into the atmosphere—that has a better chance of getting a response than the ‘Comment’ section of their corporate website!
If these things don’t make you want to drop everything and pay their above-market rent, don’t worry—they just put in new countertops in the kitchens of some of the units, so it’s all good.
You can do better. Live anywhere else.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your honest feedback. We take your feedback and all feedback we receive seriously, so we can continue to focus on improving and providing the best customer service possible to all of our current and future... residents. We sincerely apologize for the unexpected inconvenience caused by the plumbing repairs at our community, which we?re working to address as quickly and as smoothly as possible (along with the addition of individual shut off valves to make sure any future repairs only affect one building at a time). That?s scheduled to wrap up in mid-June, and we truly appreciate your patience.
Regarding the violence on 24th and Kenyon, we have been in consistent contact with the Crime Prevention Team and Seattle Police Department to help them help us and vice versa. We also hosted a town hall meeting where they were present to inform us of what they are doing and how we as a community can continue to help them address security in the neighborhood. We are optimistic after these measures and believe this was a very rare, isolated incident for our community.
To ensure we address your concerns directly, please contact our leasing office at 206-767-3300 or our Community Manager directly at meagenm@thrivecommunities.com. We would like to set up a time to meet with you, and will look into our email/website form systems to find out why your previous communication attempts were missed.
We look forward to hearing back from you,
Your Lighthouse Team

Oh my
This has been the worst living experience. Water shut off every other week, people constantly in your home remodeling something, absolutely no peace.

Thank you for your review and appreciate the honest feedback regarding the renovations and water issues. We are excited to share that we are currently installing shutoffs to each building and the project will be complete in the next month or so. This... will alleviate the water problem moving forward. We are disappointed to hear about your experience with the renovation and would love to have the opportunity to discuss this so we can continue to improve this process.

Not Worth It
If you like having garbage pile up, cars parking wherever and blocking roads, astronomical rent increases, constant water shutoffs, high utility bills, security that doesn't even patrol, property managers that never check the property, having to shovel snow and salt your own lots, and allowing contractors to come into your home for multiple days to remodel your home, while asking you to move all your stuff and offering no compensation for the inconvenience, or the noise, or the mess, then this... place is for you!
If you're looking for a quiet spot where you don't have to worry about being priced out in a year, and where the property management actually cares about your concerns and privacy, look somewhere else.
