About Madkin Apartments
Just a quick follow-up to the access code changes for the Madkin.
Doorways to apartments 1,2,3 and 4 were wide open at either end of the hallway. We then noticed that the sidewalk entry door was propped open. These are the three other entry points to... the building other than the front and back door
This was the 2nd such incident noted. One, earlier in the week before the code change and once after. I made the decision to keep the code for the front and rear entry doors at 1691. We then changed the three other access door codes to 1961. This new code will only be provided to residents who rent rooms 1,2,3 and 4. That way, those residents, compelled to give out door codes, won't have access codes to these doors and it should prevent unauthorized access at all hours of the night into the basement common areas.
