Orenda

The building itself is decent, but the management needs a lot of improvement. Orenda has been open since September 2021 and the call box still doesn’t work to allow guests up. It took a few months for them to get the package lockers up and running and amidst that wait, there has been a few of my packages either stolen or incorrectly delivered. The rooftop amenities still aren’t fully available either. Within my unit there are only two small windows that barely open for a 2 bedroom space (the… bedroom windows don’t open at all). They claim that this building is eco friendly so there isn’t a kitchen sink garbage disposal, however there is also no compost bin provided. The only thing I see eco friendly is the ridiculously small fridge. If you walk down the halls there are way too many light fixtures that is unnecessary as well. In the fire stair well, there has been dog accidents that hasn’t been cleaning for weeks leaving an unpleasant odor there.

The garage situation is what is most frustrating. There has been construction going on in the garage since moving in, but the problem is that there are random screws around the garage (along with broken glass too). For having to pay $225 each month, there should be better upkeep in the area. There has been random screws laying around in which cause one of my tires to pop. That incident alone had unfortunately costed me to replace all my tires. After bringing that problem up to the management, they offered a small amount (not even enough to cover that single tire) compensation in which still hasn’t been reflected into my account and it’s been more than a month since that incident. Don’t get me started with the failed garage gate system either.

The people working here are nice but seem to be under constant stress. Whenever I do have a question about the apartment they don’t seem to have an answer for it. They really need to get there stuff together so that this apartment can run at its full potential. Read More
