Not good
The apartments walls and windows are quite thin (can hear cars and people talking outside). Bad security system. Packages do not get in or are left for anyone to take even though there is a package locker system (had my packages stolen) but somehow people who do not live in this complex get in. The apartments are extremely warm (good for winter but awful for summer). Can easily hear the people in the apartment above you. An apartment manger who is gone half the time, sometimes does not respond... to your emails, and doesn’t fix problems.

Renter Beware
Things you should know: parking is non-existent, and street parking on Pasadena is risky with cars continually getting damaged or broken into. There's almost always a homeless camp behind the building, and although most of them keep to themselves, it's a high-traffic area for shady types. The prison-like security of the building makes it next to impossible to get packages, even if you pay for the Parcel Pending locker. The apartments are like ovens in the summer and the window design doesn't... allow for air conditioners. The apartment doors are heavy and the security gates are loud, so expect slamming noises a lot. The surrounding buildings are party central when school is in session. The management is mostly absent.
