Raleigh Manor Apartments

I lived at these apartments for 1 year. Omar, the manager, does an okay job. When I moved in there were some damaged that I told him about and he never got around to getting them fixed. He can be kind of nosy, but I guess that's part of being a manager. I was glad to finally move out as the place can be kind of sketchy at night, tons of homeless people looking through the thrash and even laying around the entrances of the building. Over a month after moving out I've been trying to figure out... about my $1000 deposit and yet I'm getting no answers from management. Just like another person before me posted. We had lived there for over a year. We liked it before we moved in, but within a month after we moved in, we made a decision to move out as soon as our lease was up. We found that walls were extremely thin compared to other apartments we have lived in. We made a couple of noise complaints but nothing really had done by the manager, so we gave up. The hallways were always dirty, people's packages were stolen after they got delivered into "the secured building", and the police officers were... knocking on our neighbor's door... We really wanted to like this apartment but it was impossible. When we moved out, we did everything that we supposed to do--gave at least a month notice, cleaned everything, and had a walk-through with site manager (Omar) and signed the paper. We were told that we supposed to get $1000 deposit back, but we have not yet got the deposit back after three months. We sent a few emails to the manager, but we have not heard anything back, ANYTHING, not even a word. We are currently seeking a legal help so that we can get the deposit back. If you have to rent this apartment for any reasons, save all the paperwork and every conversations happens between you and the management. Read More
