Vive

While I did not end up with a place in Vive, I had an amazing touring experience with Nicholas! He was so welcoming and informative not only about the apartment itself, but about the area and just apartment living in general. He was so incredibly helpful! The units I saw were all very modern, spacious, and had a lot of storage. The apartment has hardwood and carpet in the bed rooms. First off, I'd like to start off by saying I was duped. Their listing stated that this building was built in 2020.... AHAHAHA what a joke. This is not a "LUXURY" apartment. Far from it. appliances are cheap, just everything about the unit is cheap. Fuses kept shorting. Appliances were so cheap that they were falling apart. The building itself is located right next to 15th ave in ballard. One of the BUSIEST streets in Ballard. There's no central air which means you'll have to open up a window... during Mid-May through Oct. Which means you'll never get a second of silence during those months from all the traffic on 15th ave. Seriously, it's deafening. OH, and you work from home - good luck getting any work done with all that noise. They're also located right next to a Brown Bear - where you can frequently hear cars honking their horns. OH, and most parts of Seattle has a homeless problem, but it's even more prevalent here in the area Vive is located in. OH, and good luck trying to get any sleep. The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING from your next door neighbors to the neighbors above you. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere as there are definitely nicer places in Ballard that is around the same price point, if not cheaper. Read More
