Think twice before living at Axton
I’m giving Axton Apartments two stars because my experience living here was extremely frustrating. The elevator was broken for over two months, which was a major inconvenience. I also had water pouring through my ceiling, and when I called the emergency number, no one came or handled it properly. The light fixture was not put back afterward, so I ended up having to fix it myself.
Several amenities were also unreliable. The pool and hot tub were out of use often, and the snack room was never... stocked the entire year I lived there. On top of that, our oven was broken for over a month, and maintenance took far too long to fix it.
One of the most upsetting situations was when an employee confronted me after hours for sitting outside. He argued with me, yelled at me, and made me feel uncomfortable and threatened while telling me to meet him in the lobby the next morning. Overall, the building has potential, but the lack of urgency, poor communication, and repeated maintenance issues made my experience very disappointing.
