The Meadows Apartments

Every year I have an issue with lack of heat ,they say my apartment is cold because its cold outside,REALLY turn on the heat & it will not be a problem, the temperature is below what is required by the state to be safe ,EVERY YEAR , its starting to get old at this point would not recommend living here if you want what you pay for

I’ve been living here for coming up on one year now, and it’s been really great. Having to move home due to family concerns, but honestly I’d absolutely consider renting here again if I end up back in the area. My building has a nice semi private entrance area (4 doors per floor entrance from stairs) and is very comfortable. While pricy on paper, having only electric and internet to pay is great! Good amenities, neighbors are either polite, or keep to themselves, haven’t had a single rude... encounter. Had minimal interaction with management outside of initial leasing but they were nice! Maintenance is really prompt and professional, when our AC went out in august, they were there in under an hour with a brand new AC unit and replaced it. Laundry rooms are large and comfortable, and way better than other places I’ve lived for sure, never seen any of them out of order either. 4 machines of each type in my building, and it’s paid from a phone app (or laundry card) which tells you when your laundry is almost done.
Only “gripes” would be some small drywall cracking here and there, but still far better than other places I’ve lived. Doors are fairly thin, so from the hallway units main rooms can be heard a bit, and being near the door does let sound in, but otherwise rarely hear any noises from neighbors inside the unit itself, despite being close to the road, can’t hear it with windows shut (unit has 2018 windows that seal well in my unit!) but it can be heard with the windows open. If that is a concern, ask about apartments further into the complex, but doesn’t bother me much besides the occasional semi or siren.
Snow removal can sometimes be slow, but for the size of the complex and the parking amount it makes sense. If one of us gets to it before they come, often another tenant shovels and salts the walkway, as those supplies are left by each door in the snowy months which is nice to dig out cars too. Complex is well lit- it doesn’t feel dark or unsafe in any of the hallways, stairways, or parking lot- well lit indoors and out. Plenty of dumpsters without having to travel too far, as they’re at the end of each section of parking lot and have 1-2 per building. Zero pests seen indoors at least on the third floor and in the laundry room and hallway, but never seen any in the storage room either. Lots of parking. Friendly staff and I was so pleased with living here and it being my first apartment with my bf we’ve both were very happy when we chose The Meadows. We highly recommend to anyone when looking for apartment.

I highly recommend living here. I had the best time here management us so nice and helpful and everything is kept nice. Management is right there when you need something and they get it done. The pool is nicely clean and well kept the pool is actually heated. They just do a amazing and awesome job. There a some issues but other than that they are nice??

The management is poor and not tenant friendly. They increase rent $40 every year, which is odd as compare to $15-$20 previous years. $40 for same floor plan without any renovations and upgrade????

They will find a way to charge you, one way or the other. The staff are not friendly except Debbie and Angela.

Better be safe than sorry, Stay away from this apartments!!
