Patriot Greenbrier (FKA Greenbrier Gardens) is an apartment community in Charleston, WV
The management is really poor. Things don't get fixed for weeks. You can never get ahold of anyone. Every time I try to go to the office the door is locked and if you try to call they don't typically answer the phones and the mail box is full so you can't leave a message. They will charge things that they should not charge, for example: I am required to have my own water and sewage bill and they still add on a water/sewage fee to my rent each month. I bring this up and each month I am told they... are in the process of removing the charge...Yet the next month I have that same charge. Never have they actually went in and manually removed the charge even though they know they are not supposed to be adding that on to most units. The parking lot will destroy your car because they do not do upkeep to their lots. Pot holes are everywhere. They have a pool but usually they don't open it until summer is almost over & it stays green so if they do open it you won't want to swim in it. My complex was supposed to be "fully renovated" that just meant the painted the tub to hide the mold.

I just called to ask questions about an apartment and the lady that I talked to was very rude. when trying to rent from somewhere you want those people to be kind and friendly. no wonder this place has more bad reviews then good

This place sucks
I don’t even know where to begin the amount of stress that I’ve had from trying to move in and living here in less than a year has been insane. They have already tried to kick me out with no reasoning or because they have poor communication skills I moved in With worker that was not doing their job correctly. There is cockroaches in all apartments the maintenance lacks mold everywhere and they constantly tried to charge you for things that you shouldn’t be charged for and then try to kick you... out

Terrible place to live
Very old apartments. Mold in every building. Horrible management. Poor maintenance. No matter who you talk to you can’t get anything fixed. Don’t waste your time and money here. Never have lived in such a horrible place.

DONT MOVE HERE
I’ve never lived under more incompetent property management in my life. They don’t respond, they don’t fix MAJOR things (draining issues, standing water, flooding, pipes breaking etc). No one is ever in office no one ever answers the phone & the rare time you do it’s nothing but excuses. If you’re smart you’ll stay far away from these people
