The property management company was extremely difficult to communicate with during my time here. Maintenance issues went unaddressed for months, including not having heat for much of the winter. The property management company claims to be hiring new staff, but in my time here, I experienced significant staff turnover, so it is hard to trust whether anything will really change. Additionally, the leasing agent outright lied to me at the time I moved here (summer 2025), resulting in having to pay... more than anticipated in total costs. The building is also quite dirty, far more trash than should be acceptable. And while I wouldn't say the building is unsafe per se, there was a time I lost hot water for a couple of days because vandals got inside to steal copper from the pipes.

If at all possible, find a different place to live. Ideally, avoid dealing with the management company at all--they operate several buildings in the Charleston, WV area. Maybe things will improve with the new staff, but it has been nothing but a bad experience since moving here. Read More

The building, units, and grounds are very clean and fairly well kept up. There are regular cleanings done by the staff and attentive maintenance crew. It is an older building so there are some cosmetic features that are in desperate need of attention. The marblesque touches around the building, both in the apartment and in the halls, are beautiful for style but in need of repair or replacement. The wood floors, in the hallways and apartments, are nice but are beginning to bow in the middle(... the building was built around 1925), to the point where there are broken slats. Each unit has a gas fireplace that, while although posh looking, is the only source of heat during the winter, and takes some getting used to if you are not accustomed to a fire burning at all hours. Our one BR came with two shoddily installed window AC units, and if it hasn't been made clear by that description there is no ventilation system, which leads to a ridiculous amount of dust accumulation with the windows closed.
