Exercising at the Apartment

Finding the time to exercise is hard. Are you too busy to exercise? Don’t have the space in your apartment for a home gym? You don’t need a gym membership, bulky equipment in your home or time in your schedule to run in order to fit in exercise in your life. Get your heart rate up and get moving with these quick exercises you can do when your limited in time and space.



  • Jumping Jacks
  • Dancing
  • Squats
  • Pushups
  • Situps/Crunches
  • Climb Stairs
  • Leg Lifts
  • Stretching
  • Yoga/Pilates
  • ….and even chores can burn calories, like putting away dishes or taking out the trash (even if it’s not fun).

For fun, here are some unusual calorie burning activities that you can take into account when trying to keep fit!

  • Drinking ice water
  • Chewing Gum
  • Laughing
  • Sleep
  • Drinking coffee
  • Kissing

So even if you’re on a tight schedule or don’t have a lot of room in your apartment, these simple exercises and calorie burners can boost your mood and your energy.

    I agree that exercise should be a part of great apartment living. It helps to incorporate exercises in our daily routine like climbing up and down the stairs instead of taking the elevator and the like.
