Do not move here
Do not move to Audubon. The gross incompetence from the staff should be enough to deter you from living here, but if you do choose to move here you need to document absolutely everything. They make moving out very difficult. I moved out at the end of my lease and filled out an intent to vacate form almost two months before the end of my lease. I have now been moved out for four months and I am still dealing with them.
It is very difficult to get maintenance out to fix anything. They are often... unfriendly, leaving much to be desired in the ways of customer service — don’t even bother calling them after hours. They also don’t clean up after themselves. There was a toilet in our breezeway way for a week at one point from a maintenance job.
Now for the pros. If you smoke cigarettes so does everyone else, it’s disgusting but this is the place to do it. It is very pet friendly, there are pets of all kinds and also lots of poop, be careful where you step.
Anyway I would say that you get what you pay for, but with these prices you might as well just find a house to rent.
I understand that this review is scathing, but it is not exaggerated. If you want to see first hand experience go visit the Audubon Uncensored page on Facebook. I have been moved out for four months, maybe they have their act together, but I’m not holding my breath.

trash compacting only issue
we have lived here going on 3 years. My family love it here. The only complaint i may have is that most apartment complexes you drop trash in compactor and push button to compact it, here tenant puts trash in compactor and member of staff comes by and compacts it at later time. Because of that at least one a month trash compactor over flows and bags full of trash lay all over sidewalk outside of compactor. This is fault of poor design of complex designers, more than staff not checking compactor... regularly. Staff are very friendly and maintenance issues are dealt with quickly. Great family atmosphere and close to many shops and food places.

Great Place to Live
I lived at Audubon Park for a little over a year, and I never had anything other than a good experience. As a young female living alone, safety was my top priority, and I never felt unsafe at this complex. The staff was always friendly, and maintenance was alway quick to fix any issue I may have. My neighbors were always quiet and respectful. The pool area was always kept very nice and clean. I wouldn't have been happy living anywhere else during my time in Daphne.

Moved in this year, later found out property has no gutters. Water ran down side walls causing moisture.which then turned into something in my unit.Multiple inspections by staff. Given no resolve I was told it was beyond maintenance until repairs were made on the exterior . I asked to transfer into another apartment and was told due to my repeated maintenance requests and communications, they were kicking me out due to my requests for repair. The poor person in charge became so hostile in her... responses. Forceful verbal tactics were used, the poor dear, raising her voice in front of office staff at myself and insisting, I sign a document to break the lease and if I did not ,I had to stay in the damp environment. I am an elderly 76 year old and former pastors wife, who understands the stress that these people endure to fill vacancies listed, by their superiors. I believe at heart they are good people, but it was not shown. It is not my place to judge the owner or management.Sadly, it was demanded that I sign and give up my rights to any refund , I was also instructed to pay nearly 700.00 for 20 days in July for a unit that requires attention prior to habitation. I was told they were not worried about it, (Quote) we will paint over and move another one in, so you do not worry about it. Very sad. I Moved out on the 6th of July and offered the keys, and asked could we discuss taking the rent down some, since I was out early. Again such hostility, from an obviously overworked poor soul in the office..I do not imply all units have the same issues . In closing, after dealing with at least 3 or 4 managers as they come and go. No reasonable adult was available. I feel such empathy towards the staff, management and remaining neighbors.To bad problems could not be addressed instead of ousting the elderly and taking their money.To the staff, respect and dignity should be part of our daily life. I am implying nothing either way except to my experience. I did sign and agree to their terms as they will state, but only during duress. I am a simple Southern Baptist widow who has no money for lawyers over such things. I am guided to pray and try to forgive and forget the treatment received

According to our records, all of your service requests were completed and the issues in your home were resolved. We apologize if there was any... miscommunication in regards to your move-out process, we originally had you scheduled for your last day to be later this month and for your keys to be surrendered upon that day, since you decided to move out before the mutually agreed upon date, we would have to charge you for those remaining days as previously discussed.
