Alta Mar at Broadwater Apartments

I applied for an apartment here and paid the required application fees, but after two weeks, I have received no update regarding approval or denial.

I have called multiple times, and each time I am told that the property manager will return my call. This has not happened once. Communication has been consistently poor, and no one I’ve spoken with has been able to provide any meaningful assistance or timeline.

During my most recent call, the staff member was dismissive, interrupted my questions,... and did not attempt to resolve the issue.

At this point, the lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. Charging applicants upfront while failing to provide even basic updates reflects very poorly on how this property is managed.

Living at Alta Mar has been a very bad experience. The apartments have serious problems — rats, ceiling leaks, and an AC that only works part of the time. Maintenance rarely responds, and management does not return calls or follow up on issues. The amenities they advertise are also in terrible condition: the pools have been broken for years, and the on-site laundry centers are dirty, messy, smell terrible, and often don’t work.
To make matters worse, I moved out over three months ago and still... have not received my security deposit. No one will give me updates, the manager refuses to speak with me, and I cannot get any contact information for anyone above the on-site management. It feels impossible to get help or answers.

Bad rats I had no A/C my sink was broke for 2 months my air was broke for 4 months and I was told they would come and fix it and they never fix nothing the rats was so bad I can hear the rats in the walls I had mold in my living room run ! Don’t live here !

Pools have been broken for 4 years no amenities whatsoever and rent continues to increase. Maintenance is a joke useless putting request in to fix anything. The property is disgusting on a daily. Considering moving into one bedroom just to get out of this hell hole.
