Great Downtown Phoenix Living Experience

I've lived here since November 2024 and have had a great experience. The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of downtown Phoenix, with easy access to restaurants, entertainment, sporting events, and everything the city has to offer.

The staff has always been extremely helpful, professional, and responsive whenever I've had questions or needed assistance. Work orders are addressed promptly, which has made living here stress-free.

The apartment itself is beautiful, and one of my...
favorite features is the incredible view of the city. Between the location, the amenities, the views, and the level of service from the staff, I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a downtown Phoenix apartment.

Beautiful Building and Location – Excited to Move In!

I recently toured The Stewart and was genuinely impressed. The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of downtown Phoenix, close to Roosevelt Row, restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife, all within walking distance.
The building itself is beautiful, with a unique mix of historic charm and modern finishes. I loved the rooftop pool and the views of the city and mountains—definitely a standout feature. The fitness center is spacious and has everything I would need, and the lobby has a...
nice energy with its coffee station and work areas.
The apartments felt bright and modern with large windows, high ceilings, and updated kitchens. I liked that the units have smart thermostats, in-unit laundry, and balconies with great views.
During my tour, Kalie in the office was super welcoming, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease throughout the process. It’s clear the team here cares about creating a positive experience for residents.
I haven’t moved in yet, but based on my tour, The Stewart feels like a place where I can enjoy city living while having a comfortable home to come back to at the end of the day. Looking forward to calling it home soon!

Bed bug infested!

While I can absolutely write an entire novel about my experience since living at the Stewart, I’ll save that for now and share the most important thing to know. This building has bed bugs and management does nothing to resolve the issue. I’ve had them now twice, even after having my apartment treated 3 times (at my own expense because they lied and told me I didn’t have them when they sent their pest company out for an inspection.) I had to hire my own company once I realized how far they would... go to lie and cover themselves to avoid being responsible. They didn’t know I had a camera in my apartment recording the entire inspection. They also didn’t know every conversation I’ve had with them I’ve had my phone recording in my pocket, building quite the case to prove their negligence/lies. Come to find out after months of trying to get back to normalcy after the trauma of dealing with bed bugs, the sonder units that have short term rentals in this building have bed bugs and nobody is doing anything about it. If you are an individual who works hard and takes pride in your home and the life you’ve built for yourself, don’t move in this building. It doesn’t matter how well you follow the protocol for getting rid of the bed bugs, if the building is infested there’s nothing you can do but continue to treat your unit over and over while exposing yourself to the toxic pesticides. There are several people in the building stating they’ve had bites too but don’t want to come forward in fear of having to pay for it, so they’re making the issue worse as well. If you are dirty, partake in illegal activity of all sorts, and love management companies that lie to your face then this is your home and you will be so happy here! Otherwise, I urge you to stay far away from this building. You will lose your sanity and your health will decline from the stress of dealing with such incompetence of everyone involved. This building is run by careless lying morons.

Not a luxury building

I have been living in this building since August 2023. I moved into this building following cancellation of my lease in another building at the last second due to their construction not being done on time, and The Stewart had an opening in the short time frame I had to find something, so I went with it. At first, I was empathetic to the noises and the less-than-luxurious lifestyle that came with living here - it is, after all, a downtown building. However, the fact that the management does very... little to take care of people smoking, people littering, dogs barking, etc is just ridiculous. While most of the blame for this lies with the tenants, it is what you can expect while living here. Dogs howl at all hours of the night, the hallways reek of weed, and as other reviews have mentioned, the trash situation is out of control. The parking garage floors are often covered in trash - I have no idea if people are littering or if the trash bins are overflowing, but either way, you will feel like you are living in a homeless area. The parking garage (that you will pay $125 a month for) is poorly designed, so you will play chicken everyday with those who see the landings between floors as their own personal parking spots to unload their groceries and also those who fly around the corners and do not slow down to see if anyone is coming from the other direction. You will pay an astronomical amount of fees, from amenity fees for Fetch (which is a BS service that you cannot opt out of) and Smart Home Services (also not something you can opt out of) and then common areas fees that are more expensive than your own apartments utilities costs. The common area fees, on average, will run you about $80 a month. They don't tell you that when you sign a lease. The hot tub didn't work the first 3 times I used it (I have not used it since then so can't speak to wether or not it was ever fixed) and the building has a poorly designed water system which has been an issue for me since moving in. I have multiple work orders put in for not having hot water - the water was luke warm to where it would not even steam up the mirror in the bathroom. If you want to live in a downtown building and don't care about wasting money, this is the place for you. The location is great and you have alot of options for food, drink, entertainment, etc. But 5 towers have gone up around us, including one that now completely blocks the west-facing view from the building.

Great Property Managers!

Jamie and her staff throw great parties for the tenants. The Christmas Party was first class with excellent food and an open bar. The Stewart hosted the best Super Bowl Party in America, for sure! Huge screen tv set up next to the Rooftop Pool with burgers and brats and an open bar. Watch the game in the pool, in the hot tub, or on a chaise lounge, take your pick. Great atmosphere; super fun. St. Patrick Day Party a success as well. Best spot to live in town! Steve
