FOR FUTURE RESIDENTS

Very disappointing experience with Catherine, especially because we genuinely wanted to live here.

I first toured in April, looking at 3-bedroom units for my three sisters who were considering moving from Kansas to Arizona, as well as 2-bedroom units for myself when my lease ends in December.

This week my sisters were ready to move within approximately a week, so I scheduled another tour. Before going, I called Catherine specifically about the promotion advertised online. They said they would… check and call me back. They called back saying two weeks free would apply, then called me AGAIN and said the four-week promotion would apply.

When I arrived, however, I was immediately told they would NOT honor it because I had toured in April. Apparently Catherine has a six-month rule regarding previous tours and promotions. This rule was never disclosed to me in April, I didn’t see it disclosed with the online promotion, and somehow it wasn’t caught when I specifically called and they checked my eligibility before confirming four weeks free.

What frustrated me most was not simply the policy—it was the complete lack of interest in finding a solution.

I explained that the immediate applicants were my three sisters moving from Kansas. I asked whether this could be considered their tour. No. Could one of them personally tour and apply? No. Could management review the circumstances since the restriction hadn’t been disclosed and the promotion had just been confirmed by their office? No.

I repeatedly asked, “How can we come up with a solution?” and “There’s got to be a solution.” Instead of being offered any alternative, I was eventually told we were “going in circles” and they weren’t going to break rules for one tenant.

I wasn’t asking them to break rules. I was asking them to help us find a legitimate solution WITHIN their rules.

I asked to speak with the property manager and was told management had already been consulted. I asked for a phone number and was instead told the manager could call me the following day.

These were THREE people ready to apply that day and move almost immediately. My brother and I were also considering Catherine in the future. I honestly felt like I was trying harder to find a way for us to become residents than Catherine was.

Eventually I became frustrated, said essentially, “Well, that sucks. We’re not living here then,” and left. Another employee called after me, “Take it easy, man.” I responded with profanity. I shouldn’t have,

Maintenance has always been kind and helpful. Management overseeing things and ensuring all amenities are part of what people pay for to stay here are at optimal condition. When the gates do not operate or are left open - that is a security concern. When you don't lock the mailroom or install cameras and people's packages are being torn open - not acceptable. Especially when we have to pay for that! And most frustrating is closing the pool for 2-3 weeks because you have not brought in urgent… maintenance means we are paying for amenities we cannot use. There needs to be an adjustment to our rent if you cannot keep things operational. There are TV's in the cabana's that haven't worked EVER. That is lack of attention and what is advertised doesn't align.
The spaces between parking spots where the eyesore AC units sit...new plants or how about a dedicated station at each one where our outside garbage at night can go for pickup. Much more useful and instead of bushes or brittle twigs. Especially since the garbage isn't picked up consistently. Many times mine is missed. So, I put it out early and mgmt doesn't like it, but not my problem. If the service cannot pick up my trash that I pay for or it stays out.

would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the entire Greystar team. Throughout my time here, I have found the staff to be professional, courteous, responsive, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service to residents.

Property management is not always an easy job, and I have been consistently impressed by the team's willingness to help, communicate, and address concerns in a professional manner. Every interaction has been handled with kindness and respect, and… it is clear that they work hard behind the scenes to keep the community running smoothly.

I am especially grateful for the dedication of the leasing office, maintenance team, and management staff. Their professionalism, patience, and positive attitude do not go unnoticed. They have always treated me with courtesy and have made every effort to be helpful whenever assistance was needed.

Thank you to everyone at Greystar for your hard work and commitment to creating a welcoming community. It is refreshing to work with a team that genuinely cares about its residents and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Your efforts are appreciated more than you know.
