The management team at Atwell has been very helpful, they have been very responsive in answering my concerns in a timely manner.

The maintenance crew have also been outstanding, they typically show up with 24-48 hours and get the job done in a timely manner.

We No Longer Feel Safe Raising Our Children Here

I would not recommend living here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but prospective tenants deserve to know about our experience.

Over the past year, we have repeatedly reported serious concerns to management, including marijuana smoke entering our apartment through the vents, separating flooring that created a tripping hazard, bathroom flooding, water damage from a leaking AC unit, and security concerns.

The flooring issue was particularly frustrating. After we reported it,… management inspected it and documented that the floor was fine. It wasn't until our son tripped over the raised flooring and was injured that management agreed it needed to be repaired. We were then told we would need to leave our home for one to two days while the work was completed. At the time, my wife was eight months pregnant, making that extremely difficult. No alternative accommodations or other solutions were offered.

We also experienced a leak from the AC that left our upstairs bathroom wet. While maintenance fixed the leak, the affected area was never professionally dried with fans or dehumidifiers. Having worked in the water and mold remediation industry, I was very concerned by this.

Most concerning is that my family no longer feels safe here. Between repeated maintenance issues, marijuana smoke entering our home, our truck being broken into, and incidents involving someone apparently kicking our front door, we have lost confidence that our concerns are being taken seriously.

We simply wanted a safe home for our children. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience.

We want to acknowledge a few of… the items raised:
Flooring repair: We regret the frustration around this issue. Once the need for repair was confirmed, we made arrangements to complete the work. This type of repair does require temporary access to the home to ensure it is done safely and correctly, and we have been working to coordinate a plan to move forward.
Maintenance concerns: Reports regarding the AC leak and other maintenance items were addressed, and our team responded to complete necessary fixes. We understand your concerns about follow-up processes and continue to evaluate how we can improve communication and coordination.
Smoke concerns: We understand how concerning this can be. At this time, we have not been able to identify a verified source. We remain committed to investigating any actionable information so we can take appropriate steps.
Community safety: Incidents such as vehicle break-ins or property disturbances are deeply concerning. While these situations involve third parties and are outside of management’s direct control, we encourage residents to report them to local law enforcement. We also document all reports and look for ways to support overall community awareness.
We understand that your experience has not met expectations, and we genuinely regret that. Our team has remained in communication to try to address these concerns and work toward a path forward.
If you are open to it, we encourage you to continue working with us directly so we can focus on solutions within our control and bring this matter to a resolution.

Front glass oven panel loosened from oven door making the oven unusable. Called office and maintenance arrived within 20 to 30 minutes. Problem fixed in minutes.
Over the past year I’ve requested maintenance for changed lightbulbs, filters, a clogged drain & in each instance maintenance arrived quickly, were professional & corrected the problem in one visit.
Also, I greatly appreciated that the community’s grounds have been well maintained, which I believe shows that not just management but… neighbors / tenants want to keep our community looking as pristine as the day the grounds were created.
